Follow the steps to
complete a SIM swap.
01. Request and RICA your new SIM.
In ClientZone.
- Log into your ClientZone.
- Click on the 'Mobile' tab.
- Select the number you want to do the SIM swap on.
- Click on the 'SIM Swap' button.
- Follow the prompts to complete your SIM swap request.
- You will RICA the new SIM card during the SIM swap process.
In the App.
- Tap on the number you want to do the SIM swap on.
- Tap on ‘Manage Package’.
- Under SIM management, tap on ‘SIM swap’.
- Follow the prompts to complete your SIM swap request.
- You will RICA the new SIM card during the SIM swap process.
You can get your new physical SIM card delivered straight to your door via our courier or collect it at Afrihost HQ in Rivonia, JHB. Alternatively, you can swap with an eSIM.
02. Let us know once you receive your SIM.
Once you receive your replacement physical SIM or when you are notified that your eSIM is ready, please follow the steps below.
In ClientZone.
- Go to ClientZone.
- Click on the 'Mobile' tab.
- Select the number you want to do the SIM swap on.
- Click on the ‘SIM Swap’ button.
- Click on ‘I have my SIM’.
In the App.
- Tap on the number you want to do the SIM swap on.
- Tap on ‘Manage Package’.
- Under SIM management, tap on ‘SIM swap’.
- Tap on ‘I have my SIM’.
03. Complete the SIM swap.
If your old SIM is lost.
- An OTP will be sent to your old number. You DO NOT need to respond to this message.
- We will verify the SIM swap on our side and will contact you once your SIM swap is complete.
If you’re upgrading or replacing a damaged SIM.
- An OTP will be sent to your old SIM. Please reply to this message as soon as you can.
- We will verify the SIM swap on our side and will contact you once your SIM swap is complete.
